Pristina, information about the way to and from the airport

Pristina is the largest city in Kosovo and also its political, economic and cultural heart. Visitors are normally bowled over by the hospitality of the locals. The Emin Giku Ethnological Park in the old town is one of the best examples of typical Kosovan architecture. Tip: if you’re looking for shops, cafés and bars, as well as the old town head to the Kurrizi, Dardania and Qafa districts.

Car:

Pristina Airport is 18km south-west of Pristina, 3km south of Slatina and within 80km of other cities. Journey time to the airport is around 30 minutes.

Bus:

Shuttle buses depart every 2 hours between 05:00 and 23:00. They connect the airport building and central Pristina.

Taxi:

Taxis are available from 05:00 to 22:30. Journey time into the centre is around 20 minutes. Cost is around €25.

Hire cars:

There are centrally-located Sixt and Avis rental locations at all Germanwings destinations. Reserve a car here and get great bargains.

Pristina International Airport is 16 km from Pristina and has one terminal.
There is a tourist information desk for any queries.

Please note:

Check in for flights from Stuttgart to Pristina is not in Terminal 2 as normal, but in Terminal 4 at desks 400-402.

Parking:

There is a multi-storey car park with 650 parking spaces next to the terminal building. It is open round the clock and costs around €2.
